Welcome to Charlton Columbias! Our webpage is still a work in progress, but feel free to look around!

About Us:

Located in beautiful Central Washington, Charlton Columbias is established on the homestead ranch of the Charlton family. Dr. Dan Charlton, a veterinarian who was born and raised in Ellensburg, owns and manages the flock. The family has been breeding Columbia sheep for about 12 years now, but their history in sheep producing goes back 2 generations. Lambing:

Charlton Columbias lambs in the mid spring, the ideal time for lambs to attend our local fair on Labor Day weekend. We have purebred Columbias as well as many Suffolk/Columbia crosses and Suffolk/Columbia/Texel crosses. The Suffolk/Columbia/Texel crosses have been very successful at our local fair when fed correctly. They produce a lamb with well-rounded overall muscle. We will be sure to post pictures of the adorable babies once they are born! (The lamb pictured here is a bottle baby from 2010) If you are interested in purchasing a market or show lamb please feel free to contact us by either clicking here or on the Contact Us link above.
